The Centre for Advanced Solid and Liquid based Electronics and Optics (CASLEO) is a multidisciplinary centre dedicated to developing systems that have significantly influenced the areas of liquid metals, sensors, electronic materials, optics, microfluidics, biomaterials and medical devices. Our research has positively impacted and will continue to influence people’s health and wellbeing.
  • Evidence-based policy and asset design
  • Allocation of significant time and resources
  • A multi-party initiative
“There are possibilities you cannot even imagine. Think electronics, optics, catalysts, thermal devices and bio systems. We want to look at using these new materials in wide-ranging applications, to make goods that are cheaper, more efficient, and better for the environment.” — Dr Kourosh Kalantar-zadeh, Professor of Chemical Engineering
