Project title: Liquid metal enabled stretchable and soft electronic devices
The morphologies of liquid metals can be transformed via electrochemically controlling the oxide layer on its surface. The liquid metal enabled electronic devices have excellent flexibility and stretchable property. However, the precise controlling of the liquid metal morphologies, and fabrication of nano-scale liquid metal enabled circuits limit its development. The output of this research will benefit microelectromechanical systems, stretchable sensors, tunable antennas and apertures.
